° The fundamental drive of Immense is to create a culture-promoting music festival, as well as use it to raise awareness to different causes. The purpose is to put a spotlight on taboos and stigmas that lies underneath the shadows of the surrounding communities. By doing so, it has the opportunity to grasp influence and chance perspectives.

This is why Immense promotes a greater cause.

Much has happened since we had our last festival celebration. We were fortunate enough, to be permitted to organize our festival during Covid-19 summer of 2021. This edition was definitely our biggest set-up to date! We had 2 stages and a chill-out, with music and workshops running for 4 days. We managed to create something very special that hadn’t been seen in Aarhus for many years.

Now we are finally ready to share some great news with you! We have settled on the new date which is the 11th and 12th of August 2023 and we have also changed the location back to where it all started – under Ringgadebroen in Aarhus center.

Since our first edition in 2019, the area has undergone some rather big changes.
Our collaboration partner Aarhus Volume has build an in- and outdoor facility to host events. This new area is now called “𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞” and is the new home for the Immense Festival.

For our 2023 edition we’ll have two outdoor stages representing House, Techno, Trance & Psytrance music. When we close the music ourdoor at midnight, we will move indoor and continue the music until the morning. Volume Village indoor venue is a great new sustainable building made for great sound experience. There is a Function One sound-system installed and enough space for a lot of people.

° Charity fundraising is a fundamental part of our concept. We believe that our support can have a greater impact when supporting NPOs and NGOs.

This year our donation will go to a local organization that supports vulnerable children, young people and adults who live in Aarhus.

Aarhus Hjælper is a charity association, that primarily works on a voluntary basis with citizens of Aarhus that wants to help and support vulnerable children, young people and adults.
Aarhus Hjælper’s purpose is to inform about the need for help, as well as to support and help.
Their vision is that socially disadvantaged children, young people and adults, who live in Aarhus, gets a new opportunity, to get on in life and live out their dreams of a good life.

Our collaboration with Aarhus Hjælper, consists that our donation will go directly to a field trip for vulnerable children. The trip will take place over 3 days with camping at Karpenhøj Naturcenter.

We are honored to be able to contribute and make this trip possible.

No one can help everyone – but everyone can help someone.
